So last weekend I put the 200 on a rolling road :)

Car is stage 1a (full spec at bottom of post) and managed to make the following:

Pretty damn pleased considering when I bought it it was pretty much stock. Got the hunger now to take it to the next step though which can never be a good thing for the wallet!

The brake pads are brilliant, sticky as **** and also work well from ice cold (although obviously heat makes them even better...)

Hella dusty though but that's the trade off I guess.

Might take a look then. ds2500's have been the best I've tried (currently using yellowstuff) although a friend keeps mentioning M1144 for the road.

I was recommended these over the Ferodos.. can't say I have ever tried the DS2500s so unable to compare, but I doubt you would be disappointed with the Bluestuff NDX :)

Is it an SR20DET?

I only ask because I would have thought you'd get more power than that at 1.2bar.

I'm not trying to have a go; maybe it's just that the 54C variant in a GTi-R has a different turbo? It's not the same engine, but it is similar.

I'm sure the last rolling road day I went to 1.2bar was ~290bhp.

I only spike at 1.2bar on the initial boost climb, it quickly falls to 1.1 bar through to 0.9 bar.

Around 270-280 is pretty much bang on the money for this map and these mods -- 290 is possible I guess but unlikely :)

The paint isn't metallic, just 13 years of stone chips and also a lot of flies from the drive up :p.

Looks pretty well set up. You can see the fuelling start to lean out at the top, certainly wouldn't give it any more boost than you currently have.

You can hardly call it a "map" though, you just dial the thing* in via the crank sensor at that's that.

*Thing = Ign timing

Front mount probably not helping and also depends on run speed of the DD dyno, they seem to allow things to run up quicker than what I'm used to so would hazard a guess that the turbo has simply not had time to spool.

Could also be bag of **** boost controller :D

I don't plan on running any more boost until I get some fatter injectors. 12:1 is still perfectly ok for these engines but you are right, any leaner and I would start being a bit worried.

Regarding the map -- it has been 'chipped' with a map designed for this set of mods (hence the 'stage 1a').
Full boost at 4500 on a stock turbo, bit late no?

It does come in a bit late, I set up the controller in that way to smooth out the power response. When I had it coming in earlier I found the power came in a big wallop all at once, which I didn't like.

GtiR had four throttle bodies, 200sx has one

All that chip does is increase injector duty and remove the boost cut :D

Are you sure about that?

At no point does it lean beyond 12:1, which is still classed as a pretty normal mixture. Would be nice to have a knock sensor for peace of mind of course!

Pretty sure, as the ign timing comes from the position of the crank sensor bolted to the side of the block. You advance and retard the ign by rotating this one way of the other. Plenty of "how to" descriptions on google.

12:1 is fine at that boost level. You don't need it quite so pig rich once the boost starts tailing off :)
