One of the big issues with e-bikes - be they electrically assisted bikes or full on electric motorcycles - is recharging. This is a particular problem for those of us who don't live on the ground floor. Carting a bike up stairs to your flat can be no joke for a smaller, weaker person. So are there e-bikes with drive modes that help with this? I'm thinking of something like resting the back wheel on the floor and the motor assisting with the stairs.
Not really a solution in my case: I live right next to a school.
In that case get a nice big American flag to hang next to the bike, with an eagle on it. Then stick some "I LOVE THE NRA" stickers on the bike, take some photos of it and send it to the school with the words "steal my bike, I dare you". I guarantee that not a single child will go near it.
