A beginners info would be great! Before I bought a pack on the bay for around £35 but it was nasty everytime I had a pull I would suck in the liquid goo also, straight into my mouth (NASTY).
Yeh something for better taste smoother draw equivalent to a real smoke would be fantastic, for when the cravings come.
Heh, you fell into the trap that a lot of people do. Poor quality retailers really badly over-exagerate what you can get out of e-smoking as a whole, and of the packs they sell. Basically, they pull together a piece of crap set, and sell to people who don't get decent info at a high price.
First things; Cartridges, are not, have never been, and will likely never be the equivilent of 'At least 40 cigarettes' or 'At least a full pack of cigarettes!'. One battery will never last a full day. Buying pre-filled carts is a rip off, taste bad and just generally a bad idea.
There's 3 parts to the e-cig; Cart, Atty and Battery. Battery i'm pretty sure you can work out. The atomiser is what heats up and turns the e-liquid into vapour. They have limited lifespan which differs between models, and also between individual attys. Cartdiges also differ between models, and contain a wool like padding which holds the e-liquid.
Depending on what your daily cycle is will also affect what model/accessories you should get. As a general rule, you will want to invest approximately £100 give or take to start with, and upkeep will cost you maybe £20-30 a month, depending on your useage.
Currently, the only reliable PCC (portable charging case) on the market is only available for the Titan 510, so if you're very mobile during the day, or apt to have to shoot off at any moment, this is the obvious choice. The PCC will hold a battery, 3 carts and an atomiser. The case will charge the battery on the move, as batteries generally get 3 or so hours of use out of them, so this saves carrying spares around with you.
The problem with the 510 is, it is substantially longer and heavier than a standard cigarette, and all the new models use what is called a manual battery. This means you have to depress a button on the ecig to activate it, which means holding it like you would a cigarette is fairly different. Also, different flavoured liquids tend to have their taste boiled out of them by the Titan's incredibly powerful atomiser.
The only other 'real' choice is the Mini DES901. This model is much closer to smoking, with a smoother draw, automatic battery so you can hold it like a normal cigarette, and it is closer in size and weight as well. The atomiser makes liquids taste a lot better as well.
Both are good, but it depends on your lifestyle and current consumption. How much do you smoke a day currently?
