E-commerce site using PHP

Take a look at OSCommerce, it's the only Open Source fully functional php based system that I know of. You can integrate it with whatever payment method you like.

You will need to tweak OSCommerce a fair bit to get it working though, as it's still using some now deprecated, but still 'valid' (in the sense that it can still work) syntax.

Be sure to look out for the User Contributions for register_globals Off and HTTP_LONG_VARS off, as these are the most common problems.
 
OScommerce is a dinosaur but it's a dinosaur which, more or less, works.

There are alternatives such as Zencart, one of its forks, which is reputedly nicer than OScommerce, though I've never actually gone hardcore into it :)

Alternatively, X-cart is a good paid system which isn't expensive (~$299), and I found Sunshop the other day which looks quite comprehensive and is even less, $189 :eek:

Probably worth investigating trial periods for paid software and finding the one which suits you best :)
 
If I wanted to create an online store with the full security that is needed and I wanted the money to go into a business account I had (not using Paypal or others) how would I do this and what is needed, costs, etc

Get a pro web company to do it for me...lol
