Hey,
Mate has a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and his little lad went to turn it on the other day and it just loads to the Samsung splash screen then stops.
I've managed to get it to boot in order to do a factory reset but it's just coming up with:
E: failed to mount /efs (invalid argument)
Bit of googling means that is a software OS issue and needs reinstalling, but so many guides with different ways of doing it.
So, A) Any chance it could be hardware and not software?
b) Any good guides for restoring the OS?
I can't flash it with a different one as its not mine and I don't want to confuse his 4 year old.
