E-mails disappeared from inbox.

I checked my inbox a few days and noticed the last four months of my e-mails weren't there (only about 15-20), so I thought I'd leave it until the next day. Only just checked my inbox this morning and didn't pay any attention until I deleted all the spam and realised how old the last e-mail was in my inobx. Should I just get over it and move on or is there any way of getting these back if I contact hotmail and on a seperate note, would they be willing to retrieve said e-mails considering that I merely have a free account?

If it's not in your deleted items then forget all about ever receiving them.

That's why it's a good idea to have a decent IMAP email account

Once the email is deleted (on POP) you're pretty much stuffed, unless you have backups.

Good luck getting a reply from Microsoft.
