E-Sims for travel

So is e sim the ability to activate a digital version of a sim card? Does that work for android devices or is this only for iPhone?

Many modern Android devices support eSIMs, For example, the first Pixel to support them was the Pixel 2(sort of) and certainly Pixel 3.

Anyone used BNE esims?

Tried bne last month in turkey. Very good, purchased the lifetime 20gb package as we go every year. Works out cheaper in the long run, basically payg and will last until the 20gb expires, no expiry date.

I'm still in the US and used up the Breeze esim. Switched to Globalyo and it just works. Same T-Mobile and a few dollars cheaper.

Anyone with experience with ESIMs in South Africa? Will be using a fair bit of data outside the main cities (Garden Route tour) and don’t want to come unstuck.
