e2160 max voltage

okay i found on multiplier 8
i found max fsb is 423Mhz

making end result: 3.384Ghz
ram on 4-4-4-12 overvolted 0.1v = 2.2v

testing now, cpu is stable the ram wasn't so i over voted and hope that did it

post back later :D

update:
seems to not be that stable at those settings it errored at 9mins in, so i lowered the voltage back down to 2.1v and then loosen the timing to 5-5-5-15 and testing now see how it goes, if still not stable i will put voltage up and if still not then i clock it down a bit..

okay I'm done with all these settings now, i finally going to start with the ratios but i really doubt it work as i had to clock down cause of ram.

okay i think these settings are stable i will run over night and i tighten the ram timings :D well i post another screenie tomorrow nite nite sleepy...

btw any one know why orthos reading 3797Mhz when its 3375Mhz?

I have almost the exact same set up as you, apart from the RAM.

I've been struggling to get over 3Ghz though, would like 3.3Ghz, but even at 1.5v, I can't do it.

Cpu and RAM are fine at 420x6, but 420x8 boots, then as soon as Orthos stresses, my machine reboots, lol.

RAM timings are as loose as I can make them at 5-5-5-18 as well.

Why are you running 2 copies of Orthos?

Drop back to 3.25ghz and try a good 8 hour run of Orthos.

because i 1 stress cpu and one stress ram that way i can tell is it the ram or cpu causing unstable, i gonna try stressing it over night :D

and krooton i guess u got bad luck and got not such a good cpu... some guy got 4Ghz on this cpu on some forums i found, i was sooo jelouse and thought he photoshoped it XD
