****E3 2008 PC Discussion****

Mirrors Edge, the game looks like pure sex! Every time I see it mentioned, I have to rewatch the trailer to get the musical accompaniment to get the just the right feel.
 
I thought E3 was more or less killed off and now its some europe thing we all should be lookin forward to?

Tho if they reveal more colonization stuff ill be happy and maybe show some stuff abotu x3 terran conflict and a big question if elite 4 is ever gona make an appearance. Also be nice to see gta 4 for pc or similar games for pc like white gold (boiling point 2) which is due soon. I wish they hurry up and make homeworld 3.

just watched the diablo 3 trailer and it looks really fantastic! Warcraft 3 was boring but compared the that Diablo 3 looks really interesting. I love non turn based RPG's so this is something i will keep my eye on.

Farcry 2 and Dragonage will also have my eye's peeled.

Microsoft conference in 3 mins :D
 
Is it me that thinks that mirrors edge just looks like the computers running the player, and you just press the keys at the right times to jump over, slide, grab stuff etc...., just like the old Space Ace games where you just moved your joystick at the right times.:p
 
Anyone know is theres a conference for PC titles? Microsoft have had Games for Windows section in there conference in the past but it wasn't in this years :(

Nope, they had a Windows Live event the other week. I'm sure we'll see some decent PC titles at e3 though.
 
The Last Remnant from Square Enix is coming to PC. Was going to buy the 360 release but think I'll hold off now.

Is FFXIII also coming to PC? I tried following the Kotaku Square-Enix liveblog but it's a bit confusing. SE talk about Crystal Tools and getting something running on the PC before the 360. Is that The Last Remnant they are referring to?
 
Really liking the look of Project Origin. Nothing too different from the first game & addons but still looks fun

I got a little confused with that as well. I think they just mean they're creating the game on the PC.

"As for the development itself, we are using our new tools called Crystal Tools. We are developing the title on the PC platform."

Mirrors Edge for me, I would like to get it on PC but I'm not sure if it's one of those games that needs a pad due to the full body movement. (Analogue Sticks) mmm. I guess we will just have to wait and see how they implement it... Looks fantastic though and original.

Far Cry 2 also for some eye candy!!

*prays for a new UT game with some real improvements to be sprung upon us*

Mirrors edge is likely to be all over the show, but throw BF3 and Ep3 into the mix and E3 2008 will win the Lyon award of awesome.

Valve have said that episode 3 wont be at E3 this year.
 
lots of videos on www.shacknews.com the new ID title called RAGE looks pretty good, there are some awesome videos on there also and the new fallout video looks interesting, not to sure about the game play
