E3 2010 - Schedule

well when it comes to medal of honor, battlefield vietnam i can sort of say yes....because there basically BFBC2 but with different maps, while i play bfbc2 on occasion i wouldn't ever go as far as to call it a really good game, a laugh now and again but that's about it. These won't be anything more, how do i know that? because EA have no imagination, they'll be exactly the same!

crysis - no opinion on that, it could be good for the right person i guess, but again it's wasted man hours when no real thought has gone into making it anything more than a graphical splender.

bulletstorm - that "demo" said enough for me, i can 100% garuntee you that if i play that when it's out, i will have the exact same opinion of it as i do now.

Star wars looks good though :D

Well said, I kinda agree with you tbh.

Anyway, here's a quick roundup of what EA showed...

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit
Deadspace 2
Medal of Honor, BETA
BC2 - Vietnam expansion
EA Sports MMA - EA Live Broadcast
EA Sports active 2, Madden NFL 11
The Sims 3
Crysis 2, 3D
Bulletstorm - FPS
Star Wars The Old Republic

KOTOR - TRAILER - LOOKED - FRIGGIN - AWESOME

No ME3 announcement though :( shame.

Thoughts on the rest

- Cliffy B gets on my nerves
- BulletStorm looks like it could be excellent cheesy fun if played in the right mood.
- DeadSpace 2 looks creepy and awesome in a horror kind of way.
- Crysis 2 looks to be much in the same vein as its predecessor, not a bad thing though.
- EA Vitality stuff looks interesting
- The Sims guy must have been smoking something
- Need for Speed reminds me of classic Burnout, i hope. I loved the original Xbox outings.
- Medal of Honor, couldn't really tell much tbh.

I hope E3 is good this year, so far its been a bit boring, I hope Sony and Microsoft can re-capture the E3s of old whereby there would truly be something awesome and new shown. Last few E3 have been very boring.

I reckon Nintendo surely has to show something significant. Im hoping that they wont just rely on the new ds and on that pulse oximeter gizmo they sort of showed last year. Surely if they want to release a new console in 2 years time they must show something now. And if they dont want to release a new console in 2 years then that is a real miss in opportunity. We all want HD and a more powerful console and most of us will gladly buy the whole thing all over again to play the same games they make every time but with better graphics and pretty much the same top quality gameplay.

Having said that I bet there will some sort of wii music 2 or some other similar pish shown.

AC:Brotherhood looks better than I expected, much better than I expected.

Can't wait to get my hands on it. Anyway, that is the only series I enjoy from Ubisoft. Anyways with that over guess I'll be off for the night.
