E3 2013

I agree but MS upper management would have to actually care about PC gaming  they are some of the most arrogant executives in business.

PC gamers are below Windows Phone users in their eyes after the failures of GFWL, Win 8 & MS F2P offerings I doubt anything else will change now when they have a new console to sell which is really an ITX PC & already fighting an uphill battle against PS4!

Well it looks like they will be using their existing Azure Cloud Computing services for Xbox One which was originally designed for PC application use (http://venturebeat.com/2013/05/21/xbox-one-azure), so there won't be any technical reason why the PC couldn't use it.

Also, MS have previously released APIs to allow developers to use the Kinect on the PC (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/kinectforwindows/) so they are not completely ignorant of the PC. It's just that not many games developers have choosen to use it.

MS have also recently announced that they are publishing Halo: Spartan Assault as a Windows 8 exclusive (http://news.cnet.com/8301-10805_3-57587568-75/halo-to-hit-windows-8-and-windows-phone-8-in-july/). That's 'exclusive', as in 'not XBox, only Windows 8 devices'. The game might not be your cup of tea, but it does show that they do still have an interest of publishing games away from the XBox.

Xbox ONE only has one decent exclusive to me and that's Dead Rising 3, so it's a no brainer to go PS4. Plus I ain't gonna stop being a primary PC gamer anytime soon, and PS4 is the best console if you're only prepared to own one. If Kojima **** the PC over as usual and only brings Phantom Pain to consoles, yet another reason to get one. Can't go wrong with the cheaper, more friendly alternative.

Probably appear on PC anyway tbh...this is Ubisoft!

Always-ON DRM is a given with a game like Division so I'm really shocked it isn't anyway.

yeah division looked truly superb, i thought it was a single player game with scripted voices of the other guys right up till teh end of the video when the guy said, new players and they are pvp flagged.

Thats when i realised the potential the game has, first console launch in a long time which has me seriously considering jumping on board

If it was on the PC I would have bought it, but not a console man myself!

Microsoft's Don Mattrick says **** the gamers, "No Internet Then Stay With Xbox 360"

Because it is an "offline" device, unlike the XBO which is an Online device.

He says that if you are "offline", the XBO is not for you.

Hardly telling gamers to "go **** themselves" is it.

Also, he was referring to a guy who works in a submarine - PMSL.

The Division trailer looks great but I'm pretty certain that unless you have a close knit group of friends who you'll be playing it with you're going to get lumbered with a random bunch of idiots "Rambo"ing it with little regard to the needs of anyone but themselves. I was hoping the voices were some great acting with some fantastic dynamically responsive AI. However, I believe it was actually just some actors emulating the experience one might have when playing it online.
