Seems almost a shame to sacrifice a nice M3. I wonder what extra work would have been required to do the same with a regular coupe, given that the car has been seriously chopped around anyway - i.e the arches were hacked off and loads of the floorpan cut out/braced/strengthened etc.

Awesome machine though. I did initially think 'Heathens!!!' for chopping up an E30 M3, but as the build went on, it became apparent they've done a rather spangly job. :cool:

to be honest is a V10 E30 m3 really the ideal track weapon

too nose heavy i would have thought.

Not really. The V10 lump is majority aluminium. Probably similar in weight to the original engine and nothing a good front ARB / suspension wouldn't solve.
