E32 anyone?

There is a lovely E32 735i at the auctions, which although has cloth seats runs lovely. Would I be mad buying it for £300 and juicing it?

Its a BMW shouldnt you be paying £20k for it?

BMW - if its cheap dont buy it, itll have something wrong with it :confused:

If it has MOT then get it, 6 months tax, lower it then run it into the ground... Otherwise it's probably going to cost a lot to get it through its MOT.

Old BMW's have very low residual values, yet with proper care, they can easily to 200-300k miles. The old 3L straight 6's for example were great engines.

You sure? 730 and 740 were the only V8 versions I'm aware of. 735 was a straight 6, replaced by the 740 in around 1993.

I'm pretty sure we didnt see the 735i becoming a V8 until the E38 replaced the E32. the 3.5 in the E34 and E32 was a Straight Six.

I didn't actually check tbh. I assumed it was because my 535 is a V8.

Whats a G reg as they changed over in 1992 apparently.

G is 1989-90.

Your 535 is an M62 engined E39 - it shares the same engine as the E38 735i.

The E32 wont have an M62.
