so E3’s done for another year, what do make of the VR titles shown?

Personally, I’m very disappointed, Oculus only shown one game, Stormlands, which does looks amazing, but nothing on Defector or the conspicuous by its absence the Marvel game (forgot its name), Sony’s PSVR faired a little better showing roughly 15 games, though only Firewall interested me personally. Add to that no other AAA developer or publisher showed anything, not even a port of an older game. Bethesda did however reveal 3 VR titles, though they are 2 ‘experiences’ (the Wolfenstein one looked incredibly dull to me..) and a mobile game with VR support for PC’s, I had hoped for much more after Skyrim and Fallout VR.

Thoughts?

Can't say I'd disagree.
However, I still think that current VR tech is best suited for sims, i.e. driving, flying etc. In that arena, things are seriously good.
Still feels like there's no "killer app" for use by the non-sim, i.e. more casual player group.

plenty of games coming out for vr just because it has not hit mass market yet means nothing

vr has a way to go yet but it will get there in the end
