Hi

From what I've read, the E4300 seems to be a good overclocker. Lots have said that the major benefit is being able to go for cheaper RAM. I'm still new to overclocking so trying to get my head around FSB etc but can someone recommend me 2GB of cheaper RAM that would allow me to get to 3GHZ? Is it necessary to get PC 6400, or would PC 5300 be sufficient?

Thanks

Id get the cheapo Ocuk PC6400 stuff as its guaranteed to do 800mhz so with the E4300 and a capable board you should get 3.6Ghz :)

Seconded. Seems to be good solid ram, at a very competitive price.

They don't seem to be in stock at the moment. Any opinions on this ram?

OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC2-6400 Dual Channel Platinum Revision 2 XTC Series DDR2 (OCZ2P800R22GK)

Thanks for all the advice. I actually went with the Team Elite based on the advice from Humax in a different thread. It should all be arriving tomorrow so I'll soon find out just how good this stuff is.

Cheers
