As title.. these c2d CPU's seem similarly specced and similar in price, so I'm not sure which one to go for. The thing to consider is whichever one I choose will be in an SD32G2 Shuttle chassis with PC-5400 memory (the shuttle won't support above 667mhz)... not sure if this makes a difference!

Ta for any help

If you're not overclocking there will be minimal difference, but I would go with the E6300.

If you are overclocking however then I'd recommend the E4300 as it has a higher multiplier (Which will help you a lot, seeing as you can't really up your FSB much).

They are pretty much the same but the 9x miutipler on the e4300 means that you can use a lower FSB and maybe get a higer clock as a lot of mobos dont like going over 400 FSB.
