E46 330 vs 325

After about 6 weeks of searching i cant find anything, im looking for a 330 coupe sport in black or orient, manual, budget up to 15k not too many owners under 50k miles

There is a 325 sport good spec and just what im looking for, would i reget going for a 325, its still 200bhp.

Is it cos the new coupe sport aint out yet is that why there i very few cars about, should i wait

what do you think?

325's are pointless. The fuel economy is 0.5mpg different, the servicing and repair costs are identical, so you may as well get a 330i.

Thanks, but the first has'nt got leather and the 2nd aint a sport and is getting on a bit now

No cant do silver and the inside of the puple 1 is hidoeus believe me i check everywhere twice a day the only thing that came close was a 2003 facelift 330 sport in orient up for 15500 and that was sold

Imagine two identical cars. One has 192hp, the other 231hp. Those two cars are the 325 and the 330

It's +39hp and +55Nm of torque.

OP, keep searching. You'll become as obsessed as Fox, but you'll get what you want in the end. Of course, you might help yourself if you give a bit on the colour choice, and end up with something a bit sooner.

Only an M3 that takes my fancy but the running costs/warranty worries of the M are putting me off slightly.

I've got a 325 atm and I wish I bought the 330 instead.

I had a 528i and the 325 lacks a LOT of torque compared to that, and fuel consumption is the same!

But I'll be selling her towards to end of summer to hopefully make way for an M3.

Only thing this side of 55 AMG Mercs that takes my fancy, unfortunately I can't really afford to spend Merc AMG money so £20k ish on an M3 is more reasonable.

Chapsy,

When you find one go over it with a fine tooth comb. I missed rust on mine, which must have been polished over when I looked at it.

Also mine has a exhaust issue, they tighten everything up, but it has come back again. Fortunatly it is covered under BMW warranty, so I maybe requesting a new system up front/heat shields if they cannot sort it for more than two weeks this time.

I just have to re-chime in with a resounding "get one now". Last night I had a blast around in seemingly the first decent dry weather we've had, and it was absolutely amazing :cool:

My friends have agreed it could do with a LSD though
