Hi all,

I have just built a ITX system based around the Zotac 9300 board and would like to overclock my 5200 slightly if possible.

I know the 5200 usually clocks well but as this is ITX and using a Low Profile cooler im not sure if the temps are good enough. Im also new to Intel so the temps and voltages are different.

Idle Temp - 39/40c

Max Temp Running Prime95 a few mins - 76

The core Vid is showing 1.250v in CPU

Memory is Geil PC2-6400 Black Dragon.

If I could push it to 3/3.4Ghz I would be very happy. Probably need a better low profile cooler though.

Thanks

IT is running too hot atm to overclock, at load you want temps 60 ish max, is my personal limit. Overclocking without touching the voltage wont make that much more heat luckily, so a better cooler will be fine.

your celling is probably around 75c for temps if o/c'd, you should get a decent clock on the CPU however without having to increase vcore

Ok so my max temp 75c is ok at the moment but not any higher.

I will probably wait until I have a better cooler now, but if I was simply overclock to a level without upping the vcore my temps shoudlnt differ anyway.

When I get a new cooler I may also lap the processor which I havent done before.

My current cooler is this and dont really have space for any bigger.

I think this would be better http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-033-AR, will be tight though.
