e5200 - What is it ?

Just aswell keep it in this thread, stuck the E5200 in my P5E, 4ghz is a no go, boots into windows fine but not OCCT stable even a 1.45v, so gave that up.
However seems fine at 3.8ghz at 1.37v load.
still testing to get all the FSB term, PLL and NB volts to defaults.

I will be testing some games today, to help the OP with his original question, I had a Q9650@4ghz in here before, so I will put Fear 2 on and see if it is a smooth as a high clocking quad.
Shame I cant get it at 4ghz for a true comparison.
Have tried undervolting lowest it will go is 1.06v load. 1.1v bios

I am going to update my review with full E8500 comparisons. The mate i sold my 8800GT to is going away for a few days and said he would lend me the card while he's away. There seems to be a lot of people asking how they compare with the E5200 so i might as well get it done. I will let you all know when it's done.

***Please note*** I am not going to go back and update every cpu with newer games. It is just too much hassle. It will be the E8500 with the same test's, components and drivers to allow a straightforward comparison. This will probably happen next week sometime.

Yeah for what I see in actual gaming doesn't seem to be a noticable difference against a 4ghz Quad, just tried Fear 2 with the same settings as I used with my quad, still plays exactly the same.
This is a 3.8ghz 304x12.5. seems the vid card does most of the work, very suprised how it performs.
