E5300 Upgrade Advise

Guys just a quick question from a friend. He wants to know if it's okay to replace his Pentium 4 on a Dell GX 260 with an E5300? :rolleyes:

Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

Any possible mobo recommendation guys? I really don't know what to tell him cause it's a low profile type thing. Here's how it looks like,

Not really. Looks like one of his friend is upgrading his rig and trying to sell some parts to him. Thanks anyway guys. your responses are much appreciated. His much into Emails, chats and face book so no need for any shiny bits.
