Guys just a quick question from a friend. He wants to know if it's okay to replace his Pentium 4 on a Dell GX 260 with an E5300?

Any advise will be greatly appreciated.;)

Download CPU-z and click on the mainboard tab for info on your MB - but it does look like a new MB is required.

Being a Dell low profile system & the age, I would suspect a new case and psu and memory is needed.

Does your friend have a budget in mind.

The best upgrade on a really strict budget. Probably want new peripherals, and maybe a graphics card too, but that would be a good base. 'The lot':
