Morning!

Very new to overclocking and also not very good at it by the looks of things...

I have just overclocked my E6300 with a Gigabyte 965P motherboard to 3.19.
After restarting the system it now either says boot disk failure or if i press del to enter the biois, the system just sticks on prepare to enter setup.

Any ideas or help would be great as I seem to be pretty stuffed!

Thank you.

reset the bios. This is either done by removing the battery on the motherboard for a minute or so and pressing the power button a few times for good measure while it's out or by pressing a bios reset switch if your board has one.

Thanks..

It turns out that I knocked one of the hard drive power connections off. doh!
Took ages to trace the problem, feel a right idiot....

Is 3.0 a good overclock for a E6300? The system seems stable now... I did go in at 3.2 but kept getting system errors.
