Ive had my trusty e6400 ,4 Gig GeIL 6400 & Gigabyte DS3 V3.3 for 2 years.
I bought everything from OC and clocked it on day 7 after its initial burn in period.
Its never ever let me down running at 3.2 Gig ticking away.
My quandary is ive just bought a 4890, my 1st ATI purchase from OC and whilst its due to arrive on Monday (tomorrow) I'm already thinking about buying a CPU or even ditching the board and CPU and starting afresh..
I'm into Astro photography so 200+ meg of Canon RAW files aligning stacking its important to have a swift rig.
I also like COD & ARMA II so games on cloudy nights is important especially now its become darker.
What do you recon? New CPU or new MOB/CPU & RAM?
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600???
If i go down the new kit road my budget at the mo is £350..
