E65 buzzing noise from keypad?

Yeah i noticed it on mine, sent it back and got another one that still did it just not as bad.

I dot think it's anything to worry about, it's just a bit annoying.

Ah fair enough, not that bothered by it just making sure it isn't the first signs of it going pop

Yeah mine also makes the noise, it's only really noticeable when you in a dead-silent room though.

While we're discussing E65's - has anyones paint started to peel off the bottom? I've had mine for just over 6months now, and have kept it in extremely good condition (the screen cover is still on!), but the paint has really started to come off in big sections.

Was thinking of taking it back to Vodafone?

ye the high pitch buzzing is almost unbearable at times!! Already had one replacement as the last one kept crashing, and mic didnt always work. This one has only crashed once so far, but at the expense of it buzzing!

There wouldnt be any point taking it back to Vodafone as its cosmetic damage rather than a manufacturing fault. with voda they can help you get your phone repaired through the manufacturers warranty, but i'm pretty sure this only covers faults with the manufacturing of the phone.

But I think this is a fault in the manufacturing of the phone. Do a quick search on google and you can find a few articles on other people complaining, there's also a large thread on the nokia discussion pages.

It's not like it's the first phone to suffer from this, the N76 was removed from Vodafone as the peeling was so bad.

It's a fault with the handset, nothing Vodafone can do about it, no matter how many E65's you have you will always have the same problem.

I suppose I'd just have to suffer. It's a shame really because on the whole it's an awesome, near-perfect phone let down by a few niggles (like the firmware that still hasn't been updated)
