e6600 + DS4 overclock

got it to 3.2ghz, seemed really easy, been playin games on it fine, no crashes.. *** should i use to test stability?

using a thermaltake big typhoon with this. the temps seem too low for a big overclock, *** other programs should i use 2 monitor temps?

Use TAT or coretemp for measuring temps & run Orthos for stability

run two Orthos's at the same time so you are testing both cores at once. Your temps will also be higher if you are stressing both cores.

that idle temps is rather nice, did you use another program to confirm it? only interested as i have identical overclock at the mo with with same board, 55C full load temps.

I never knew that!...always run 2 copies...duh!!

btw which is the best test to use?....blend?

What is TAT too? what does that stand for?...just looking for a d/l linky

I think the temps are the CPU temp, not the core temp.. Install TAT and see what they are.. in my machine they are currently 10c over CPU.
