Right guys passed my exams yaaay (postgrad Medical ones)!! so its time to upgrade the spec of the comp.

This is my gaming machine (as in sig at the moment) and I want a solid OCable i7 machine.

This is what is on my list so far:

Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7 Intel X58 (Socket 1366) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard
Corsair Dominator GT 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-15000C7 1866MHz Triple Channel Kit (CMG6GX3M3A1866C7)
Intel Core i7 920 D0 Stepping (SLBEJ) 2.66Ghz (Nehalem) (Socket LGA1366) - OEM
Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache - OEM (HD103SJ)
Corsair H50-1 High-Performance CPU Watercooler (Socket LGA775/1156/1366/AM2/AM3)

----------------------------------------------
Already got:
Globalwin 802 case (from back in the day!)
Corsair 1000W PSU
ATI 4870X2 (arctic cooling extreme cooled)
Pioneer DVDRW
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Any thoughts, changes for faster/more OCability? Aiming for 3.6-3.8Ghz and to get that 3D mark score from 15k to 20k!!

I'd say the motherboard and memory you've spec'd is a bit OTT for what you're after. My UD3R does 4Ghz with ease, but its upto you if you have the money :) and yeh you'll get over 20k with that sort of overclock and your gpu, no worries there.
