E6600 Now shipping!

HI there

OK good news!

Today/Tomorrow we shall be shipping our first 20 E6600 Retail backorders and were hoping to recieve a further 100-500 units over the next 10 days which should clear most of the backorders.

This is just passing on what I have been informed, don't take it as rock solid but at least its something and you heard it here first.

Doubt I'll be in the top 20 , as I ordered only a week ago. Just hope I get it soon as all my other parts are just sat in their boxes.

Well done Gibbo,

Can you give us an indication of up until what date 500 would cover.

As I understand you were looking for 1000 units. Only recieving half that much is not going to cover all pre orders?

So if you could give us an idea of if you ordered before X date then your likely to get yours in the next 10 days. We realise nothing is concrete.

Obviously the first 20 went in the first hour or preorders I should imagine.

Damm, I changed my order to the E6700 yesterday, pretty sure I would have been in the first 20 as well.

I ordered mine on July 6th, but I changed the order a few times, that wouldn't have affected my place in the queue would it?

No, it shouldn't have done as long as you kept the same order number for your CPU.

why leave them in the boxes for? put the entire machine together except for the cpu then drop it in when it arrives. :confused:

had mine ordered on the 27th. also have a backup with another etailer who says today/tomorrow for E6600 as well.

well i heard from saff at ocuk there has been 140 pre orders for the e6600 retail so hopefully we all should get them by the end of the week (heres hopeing!!!)
