E6850 stepping

he's worried that if he bought a q6600 it would be old hat, since the yorkfields are due out soon, how much of a difference is to be expected with these new quads ?

Well he has the same situation with the E6850 just sooner as the wolfdales are out on the 20th of this month when the E6850 is replaced by the E8500.
