I got one back in Jan.

Apparently, even according to Nokia, there is a firmware update available.

Now, I bought mine from Nokia itself, so it's not provider limited or branded in anyway but I still never see the update when I connect to the software updater.

Any ideas?

Change my product code maybe?
 
I'm having the same issue with a 5800 purchased two weeks ago and I see there is a new firmware which I can't currently seam to get. I'd be interested to see how you get on. :)
 
Lucero, press *#0000# and see if it says E72-1 or E72-2 under 'model'.

The firmware update only applies for the E72-1 it seems, it's a region specific thing. Mines updated to 023.002 just fine but its off ebay, probably from China:p

I've used NSS to product change the phone to Europe (as oppsed to UKGB) but still no update shows. Also, NSU says its currently unavailable.

Thomss, I had to product change my 5800. It was a much much better phone once I'd done that ;)
