Anybody tell me how far this will go on the stock cooler, just ordered myself one and wondered if it might hit 3.2GHz on stock cooler?

It should, they run cooler than the 65nm parts and i have a C2D @3.0ghz with absolutely no problems.

Nice one, how good is the thermal paste that is pre-applied, and will ARctic Silver 5 make much difference with the stock fan?

Yeah it will, a degree or two at least, definitely apply thermal paste to your CPU, do not trust the stuff that's on the cooler, it could be so much better.

Sure, you probably won't need it i guess, it'll still do a fine job of clocking.
Just be aware that there are some problems with making those chips go over 1.5v, do not apply excessive voltage to them even if temperatures are fine, it'll permanently cripple the chips.

Yeah i won't, thanks once again, i have an AC Pro7 in case i need it anyway, but i pulled the fan off it

- easily fixable though.

I have an E8200 with the Arctic Pro 7 running at [email protected] vcore, upped the mem by .2V and FSB to 375.

Gonna try and push it further.

1.136 in the BIOS! That's quite good, gonna try and get 400MHz FSB on mine

1.2V in the BIOS, showing as 1.152V in CPUZ. Now at 3.12Ghz 390FSB.

So about 1.25v should easily get 3.2GHz i would assume!?

Would the AC Pro7 make much difference at 3.2GHz than the stock HSF with AS5 thermal paste applied to it?
