ok, i shall try and let you know!!!! Ahh, so cpu-z is reading wrong. That sorts that out. When altering the Vcore, should i leave the FSB as it is?
Cheers
If your happy with the cpu speed as it is then yes leave the fsb, otherwise you will just have to test more for stability.
Try and get ur current overclock stable, that way u can write down all the settings u need to use for that, then u can try for more.
Ok i just re-read the topic again, noticed that u said anything over 3.3 just fails right off, ok that to me sounds like the issue i had with my mobo at first.
I had to take Vtt voltage off auto, and set that to either its min or 1 notch up from min, that way i had far greater range of vcore to play with, and i think the mobo was'nt playing ball, you could give that a try i guess, not sure what Vtt is called on your mobo though.
i also notice that in ur first post u say ur using 1.2+v on stock, here is a nice little trick for you, turn off intel speedstep, reboot, and now you will be able to use far less vcore then previous, aslong as you can sort out the VTT thing, if i can find out what in ur bios for u to change i'll post back later.
Good luck with the testing.
