Is it an E0 or C0? I have a C0 that does 4GHz with a bit of extra voltage and i think most E0s will do 4.5. Check your ram is not being oced by lowering its multiplier, what motherboard are you using?
Have you tried running orthos or intel burn test at stock? Might be a bad cpu, if it is stable at stock try setting the clock up by 1MHz, although you should be able to go straight to 3.6GHz with ease.
That's very odd. I'm running the same board but different chip; it should let you muck around with the BIOS. Maybe update the BIOS to the latest version. I'm on 1001, but I think there have been subsequent releases
Hey all quick update, restarted pc a few times tweaked some settings and now have been ( and all day ) been running at 31c no load, and 48 peak ( but the peak is only measure on the cores so the cpu is a little less )
