For those waiting on the E0s I just got my new 8500 today and it's S-spec is SLB9K which I 'think' is E0 as far as I can tell if so then they are in stock!

What does CPU-Z read it as?

Try this...

sort on processor and go to page 21.
I think you're right
excellent, wha a stroke of luck eh! Didn't even have to fork over a premium! So how do I order this? Will it just be luck if they send me the E0?
dont they have a listing on the site for e0 stepping specifically
Thats only on the E8600.
Are all 8600 10x multi? whats the multi on the E8500?
edit - found it, the 8500 is 9.5x multi.
Which would be best for me to get? Does the 8600 have any big gains for its extra £35? Very tempted to order one right now.
Your no help
Whats yours like? any headroom left for more?

, I would say its better if you cannot get a HIGH FSB out of your Mobo due to the 10x Multi over 9.5x Multi also its going to be a E0 for a fact not luck of the draw for now on E8400's/E8500's.
