any help would be very much appreciated here
im trying to get a stable 4mhz on my processsor
atm fsb is 421 x 9
with the core volts at 1.304
im running prime for 10 mins then my temps via real temp hit 53 - 55
is this safe temp ? what is the max i should be looking for at load, im getting 2 different readings from core temp.exe and real temp.exe, real temp is giving me lower readings by a difference of 5-6 degs
what is a reasonably safe and sturdy overclock for this chip ?

hey, wouldn't worry about mid 50s under load, especially with prime. mine gets into mid 60s when running prime for a while

I have mine running stable. Same setup as you. I have a P5Q mobo not a Pro though.

I have 4Gb RAM 8500 Corsair.

You can see from the screenshot what I have my overclocks at.

To try and get your temps down. You could always remove your HSF and clean off the thermal paste and re-apply it again. Sometimes people put too much on.

They aren't high temps anyway. Under load / prime running for around 5 hours my temps peaked at 47 degrees.

I'm also running the DRAM FSB @ 4:5
