E8400-E8500-E8600 OFICIAL O/C THREAD!

Hello!
Seems many people ask to Help with E8400/E8500!

This threaded is opened to See who has which CPU speed, Bios Details, etc.

C0- stepping
At the moment i am on 4GHZ, FSB1700!
Volt : 1.35
max temp:58C, STOCK COOLER (about 4 hours of game play:-D)

3.8GHZ can be reached very easy, with almost all setting on Auto 24/7 stable!
4GHZ, started to play with BIOS, took me a bit of time, yesterday had Error screen (blue), which reported that it is caused by CPU!i have encreased Volt to 1.3620, no issues so far!100% stable system!
but can not see much difference!

so, how far you pushed your E8... CPU?which steppings you have?
if you can... Write BIOS settings which can help other people to get Stable system with O/C!

Well here is mine, not that great. Need to get lower voltages, it's at 1.325V (picture is like 5 days out of date, that voltage was way high) at the moment. Have a scythe katana 2, hopefully soon a core contact freezer :).

Raise bus speed to 425, as C0 is older steping, some people say it is hard to O/C it if we talk about +4Ghz .

i am afraid to go over 1.36 Cpu Volt for 24/7

what kinda temps are people getting with these chips? ive put an e8600 in last week. Current at 4.3ghz with 1.25v but my temps seem a little warm. Currently idling at 38c and hits 51c under load. If i use around 1.32v or more my temps hit 60c under load. This is under water with an EK Supreme block.

Not investigated yet so hopefully block just need reseating as it seems very toasty to me for my cooling

Got an e8500 E0 chip (thanks gurusan) - for some reason CPU-Z and OCCT don't show the 0.5x multi but core temp's reading it right as the extra half multi is enabled in bios.

Stepping Q826A402 and VID is 1.175V.

4.5ghz @ 1.32v (in bios) - 1.3v'ish under 100% load:

Just the northbridge in the loop on a PA120.2 so very happy. :D

gt

P.S: Also, gurusan clocked it to 4138Mhz at only 1.168V.
