E8500 Problems

Hey all....

In need of ya help...!

Just brought the E8500 from OC's, Installed it, and i'm getting nothing, have power to the system, but nothing on the displays.

Re-installed my old CPU and that works fine..

Also have updated my bios to use the chip

Any ideas??

Its the newer one, but my bios is all updated with the latest version 1.4

Cleared to CMOS, and still nothing, also tried removing some ram, but again, still nothing....

The PSU is fine, running a Dual Core before upgrading, also check wattage and it's all within the limit of my PSU..

Any other ideas people!!!

Yeah, I'll sort out the RMA on monday..."hopefully" it's just the chip!

Well, i have been told by OC that i have to send the CPU to Intel for them to check it, while i'm at it, think i'm gonna send the mobo to MSI for it to be checked out!!!!

Yeah, thats what i thought, but he said that the CPU had to go to Intel first...
