Hi folks totally new to this site and forum and to overclocking so i would be very gratefull for some of your wisdom and experience on the subject. Here is my gaming rig the mobo and cpu are old really an intel c2d e8600eo cpu on an asus maximus formula mobo, my gpu is an asus direct cuii gtx580, my ram is 4 gig of kingston hyper x ddr2 and my cooling isnt standard (cant remember name of cooler tho),my dilemma is i play a lot of battlefield 3 and get around 25-30 fps will a good overclock on my cpu get me a worthy result ? Is 4.3 ghz possible on this setup and would that get me some good results? thanks .
