EA master server is back

How hard is it for EA or Gamespy to put up an offical notice to players with some kind of status? Even a e-mail to players or a temp page up.

Granted things happen, thats fine but the lack of input from both companies is not on.
 
I agree with shifty, EA are just having problems there end. For all we know it could be down to a virus, hacked or power problems and im sure that their enginners and technicians are working flat out to solve the problem. And dont forget the EA master server does have to cope with millions of users everyday ;)

Totaly agree.

But why dont they let us know?? Just two lines of text saying we have a problem?

I suggest you read the FAQ for the forum, the swear filter is there for a reason, trying to be clever and getting around it will only end up with you having a free holiday courtesy of the mods.

Back on topic..

Few of my clan mates were playing all last night on and off, yet I couldn't get on once in an hour of trying :(

Was beginning to lose interest in BF2 anyway, if they start this crap again think I may just give it up for good (Patch 1.3 anyone? :p )

looked on the EA website and they say its fixed!!

should be back after the usual tuesday server maintenance

So am i mate, had the same message for the last two days and have not been able to play :(
Sunday weren't to bad as i was busy with visitors but yesterday sucked the big one. I don't think I've gone this long without a game since it was released.
Played COD2 yesterday and it was like fighting in a teacup. Enjoyed myself but the maps are just to small & i constantly miss BF2 features like squadding up and auto spotting.
I am having BF2 withdrawal symptoms & need a fix.
 
i know what u mean, this morning i had the urge to jump into a walker and rinse the battlefield, but alas i couldnt :(
