Eagle F1 Asymmetric: Not Impressed!!

I've found the Vredesteins to be a bit varied now. Good in the dry, terrible in the damp, good in the wet. Could be that the roads are a bit greasy atm, but it is a bit concerning.

When the roads are slightly damp they tend to slide around slightly on the exit of corners, they don't seem to transition from dry to wet very well.

Does that Evo tyre test that everyone bangs on about do a 'damp' test? I'd be interested to know how well the Vredesteins do on that.

Never had any problems in the damp on mine although I do hear that Pilot Sport 2's are so awesome they come with an angel who vacuums up the dampness near your car, as you drive along? This is why they cost so much, minimum wage for angels and all that :D

I think it's a pretty fair observation. In the winter the roads are mostly going to be damp - not dry and not soaking wet, so why wasn't this tested by the almighty Evo?

I'm pretty sure they did in the last test but I've no idea where the magazine was.

I do love the way you call them 'almighty' though. Amusing stuff.

Most impressed with my PS2's, but will be going to RE050A's when they're dead as I'm a Bridgestone bummer.

Im buying part worn ling longs and putting the saving I make towards the insurance increase next year following the accident ill be having ;)
