Earliest recollection stood at an arcade game and first game(s) played

Earliest recollection of an arcade game has to be streets of rage 2 but as for console games, thundercats on the commodore 64!

My first real memories are of playing Spy Hunter in the arcades at Seahouses, can't remember too much before that, think I'd have been 8 or 9 then.

I can remember the first but I remember the best ones:

Space Harrier
Out Run
Operation Wolf
RoboCop
Karate Masters

Also a helicopter game where the cabinet was mechanically linked to the yoke.

Im sure i probably played an arcade game before this but this one time stuck in my head, me and my brother went into an arcade and started playing teenage mutant ninja turtles. The machine must have been bugged or something since it gave is infinite credits, spent quite a while playing it until we finally completed it.

earliest memory i have is playing defender and moon cresta ...

but best memories was

nemesis .... i poured hundreds of £££ into this ... loved it though, and became the man on it ...

Sidearms ... the amounts of differetn types of weapons blew me away

:)

Golden Axe,
R-Type,
Spy Hunter,
St. Dragon,
Xybots,
Ghosts 'n' Goblins,
Gauntlet,
Yie Ar Kung Fu,
Wonderboy,
Afterburner (and the 360 version!)
Just a few I remember :) The 4 player turtles game was newer but another I remember.

Brigg leisure centre cafeteria about 1977, Pong. They also got a bi-plane dogfighting game later but I can't remember its name.

Cant remember the very first game I played TBH.
Think it may have been Gorf in the Radcliffe swimming pool when I was a little un.

Still, got my own arcade machine in my office so I can play to hearts content all those games when I feel like it :)

I can't quite remember my 1st arcade game, I know me and my mates were always in and out of the minicab places around my area.

1 game that does stick out though is Wonderboy.
On holiday down in cornwall, I managed to rip the nail off my thumb, so I had my arm in a sling. It isn't easy playing wonderboy 1 handed :p

Dad had a colecovision though, many happy memories of playing Time Pilot, Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr :D

Earliest recollections are playing Roadblasters and Shuriken (oh, and air hockey) in the Amusement Arcades in Felixstowe.... oh those were the days.

The Simpsons - The amount of times me and the old man completed that game on a sunday aftern00n down the arcade is incomprehensable :D

Ne1 remember the final boss?
