Not sure if this should be in the retro forum or general console gaming as it's a new game but is a retro style shmup designed for the Mega Drive...

And the legendary Yuzo Koshiro composed the soundtrack.

It's available on Steam now, other consoles to follow shortly and physical Mega Drive cartridge in 2026.

I only had time to play the first two stages but it's a real looker and plays great. I suck at shoot 'em ups so thankfully this has an easy mode for the likes of me.

Anyone else playing?

I've tried this on my Genesis and it is pretty awesome. I need to spend some real time with it, but very well made, looks and sounds amazing on the real deal.

Yeah it's very impressive, I've played it through to completion a couple of times now, I like how you can carry stuff over which may make it possible for me to beat on normal mode.

Much as I love shmups I don't have the time and patience do learn all the patterns and grind away hour after hour. This is much more forgiving.

I really love these types of games and this one looks great. But I am so bad at them that I usually give up after a level or two - I just don't have the patience.

It's a really forgiving game on the easy difficulty mode, and it's not long so I actually finished it but have enjoyed going back and playing with different weapons and upgrades. Need to try Normal difficulty now.
