We live in Darfield (10km from the epicenter) and to be honest a 3.6 doesn't even get a reaction anymore, we've been having at least that pretty much every day for 3 months and 10+ each day for the first few weeks.

Just be glad you haven't been through anything much bigger, the 7.1 was pretty terrifying and didn't do much for our house either! :eek:

I didn't feel the quake but around 11pm I heard a rumbling outside of work , I went to have a look expecting to see a courier as one was supposed to be picking up some urgent stuff, alas no one was there, I remember thinking it was weird and thought I must have imagined the noise lol.

The quake was obviously a sign for 2012.
