I have quite a few files here on my pc at work that I would like to be able to access over the internet so I can view them from work and download them when I want. Does anyone know the easiest way of doing this?

Thanks.

:)

Used it ages ago, was awful. Someone said it had got much better and it has. I have it running on my parents PC so I can take backups of certain important files periodically when they've got their computer on :)

Im using it now to occasionally send files to my mates, usually takes full advantage of my internet speed and when doing games in LAN, there isnt usually any more lag compared to internet...

hamachi is awesome software, works flawlessly since i've been using it, i have it on about 5 pc's, and work between them all, without having to forward any ports :)

basically, you install the software on two pc's over the net, then you 'create network' choose a name for it, and password

-eg

networkbledd

then on the other pc you go.. join network, type in the network name, then the password, and set both of them to auto startup hamachi, now on the pc you want files shared from, right click the folder, sharing + security, share this folder

-make sure you don't disable vulnerable services.
