Easiest way to clean up my multiple/linked contacts

On my Atrix i seem to have the same number/'s linked to the same person three to four times.
So when entering a sms i choose a contact who has the same number listed four times.
Am i missing something really easy?

Gmail contacts has a merge duplicates feature. Dunno if thats useful.
