What's the easiest way to permanently delete files from windows please?

Shift + Delete is easiest for me.

Depends how permanent you want to be though.

If you don't want to nuke your OS, thus will need to find another program to do it whilst keeping your normal data intact. I found many free and payfor variants but you'll need to find those yourself, as I have I don't have the experience to recommend any.

Don't listen to the people who state that you need to overwrite sectors several times or residue data still exists, thats an old wives tale.

Shift + Delete is easiest for me.

That's as permanent as bypassing the recycle bin

you'd need a magnet the size of a grapefruit just millimetres away from the surface of the disk to erase it.

DBAN is much more effective
