Hey all.
Recently got a ssd and just installed win 7 on it.
I want to transfer as much settings as i can from various programs from my old os of win 7 to the new one on the ssd.
What is the best way to do this as a mate said copy the appdata folder from user folder but thats like 9 gig and with it being ssd i dont wana do that.
I want chrome settings, thunderbird settings, foobar 2000 settings, desktop icons and stuff moved over, macro stuff from my logitech keyboard so i dont need to redo em, saves for games with their custom keybindings etc (sto mainly)
Things like this.
Also when i use the ssd drive to boot from i cant change the other 3 hard drives letters back to how they looked when booting from the hdd i use. How do i get my drive letters back to what they were when using win 7 on the ssd as say storage is now say I when it was H and using windows hard drive tools i cant select that letter its missing from a-z. This is so shortcuts work on the new install to things that dont really need to be installed on the new os and would work for things like desktop shortcuts to my anime.
Also windows tweaks which i forgot which ones i have done to get windows how i liked on my hdd, how do i basically have the same on the new ssd install without doing them all manually even if i remembered which i did lol.
Also best way to get 300 torrents in utorrent sorted, i really dont want to edit each one to a new location hence i want to try hard to get my drives letters sorted so locations for many dont need to be redone.
Oh yeah and the big one, my steam install. How do i get this all sorted so i have steam on my new ssd but not all the games just some and keep most of the old games which are installed still on the old hdd.
