only 1 of them first come first served.

5 of the other sound card which is also a fantastic price just over £10 for a sound card you can't go wrong! It's worth buying just to prove that soundcards are better than onboard!

after 90 days it's back to manufacturer. Prior to that it is treated as if it were under a normal warranty by ourselves.

Never purchased a sound card in all my pc owning years. Is it the clarity of the sound when gaming/music producing that is effected? Or are other things effected?

Cheers.

I went from a single 6950 to Crosfire 6950, marked inprovement in BF4.
However in doing this I had to go from My old Xonar DG to onboard sound, couldn't put up with it, sound was horrendous.
Went back to single GFX with the sound card too, I did eventually move over to a PCIe Xonar DG and Crossfire.

IMHO Sound just as much as GFx can make a game enjoyable or not, in my case it seemed like such a downgrade I realy couldn't put up with it. Of course your headphones will have an impact also.

For the Price the Xonar DG/DGX really is an amazing little card.

On the cheap one, would it be better than the sound on a G1.sniper Z87? Or a noticable difference?

it would be a noticeable difference mainly because the creative on-board stuff is pretty crap and the Amp upgrade Is a pointless gimmick i mean why wouldn't the best one be in the board in the first place.

Thanks Divine, I'll look into it :) My headphones are Creative Fatalitys that could do with an upgrade anyway.

You don't necessarily have to spend a huge amount on a headset mate.
Check out headfi they have a good skill at spotting amazing sounding headsets for very little, and of course our very own sound city forum :p

:D

I emptied what I had left for it as it is said to be such an epic card at what appears to be an epic price. Can't wait!

Was a cracking price, you wont be dissappointed.

I can never understand the clearence stuff, you have an stx at that price but other things like the windforce 290x is the same price as brand new?

Well as the onboard sound on my Sabertooth 990fx 2 is starting to flake out, i've just bought one of the DGX cards...and I told myself not to buy anything this morning...that went really well haha

Each item has to be physically set by someone. When they are put in b grade the system pulls the price. And then has to be changed. Not an excuse but if the purchaser in charge is busy he might not get round to checking the bgrade for a bit.

I set these prices as our year end is upon us and stock take is imminent.

You can always ring sales and ask for a better price if the price is the same as the website as that is a mistake and someone will change it for you.

Adjusted the bracket as soon as I got back and have it up and running as we speak. Shall have a fiddle with the settings and see what it can do. I noticed straight away that the sound through the speakers sounds punchier and more defined, shall test it with headphones soon.
