I don't think many people understand the whole point of this thread and what eastern bloc entails... ;)
Well penski should know what the "point" of the thread is, after all he started it. :)

you misunderstood my post ;) I quoted penski as his was replying to those that didn't understand. you think I could get that mixed up when we have been talking about zastavas and yugos from the off!?

The slice of pizza on the floor is worth more than the whole car, looks kinda cool, all the sides don't line up though!

Wonder if the TV is B&W or Green :p

I half get this thread.

I think virtually every car featured is a rusting old piece of complete junk, but it's actually quite interesting to see such rusting old pieces of complete junk in their traditional surroundings :)

I think that is it also, plus the cars are quite cool in a sort of odd fashion.

I will take a picture of a rusting out Triumph Dolly Sprint and a Jag tomorrow. And maybe the Morris8 in the garage, even though they are not eastern bloc. They could probably have their own little thread to horrify Lashout. :p

I actually really like that. Why? What's happening to me?? :(
To be fair, that is no standard Volga. It's been cut and chopped all over the place, but it doesn't half look good.

awesome, eastern bloc cars rock, they were all designed to look exactly the same from the back as they do from the front, except for the headlights/brake lights :D hehe :D
loving the lada loving, the one they did on top gear was awesome, all tuned up by lotus. although they spent so much it did seem quite an expensive publicity stunt.

and penski, that double engined yugo looks awesome, seems likea a madder 6r4 :D presume the turbo i4 in the front and v8 in the back? madder than a nutter in a psycho house!

Although I like the battered ones, I'd also really like a clean black Volga:
