easy disk wiping tool

are there any tools out there that run out of windows to clean a disk before i sell it on ?

im looking for something that doesnt require a boot disk, as i dont have a floppy installed, and its not my main system disk. Its an old blank drive thats already been formatted and just needs a quick clean

anybody suggest anything that doesnt involve using a dos boot disk ?

Well, There's SDelete. And Eraser. Might or might not satisfy you.

However, DBAN can boot from CD? Would that be acceptable?

that'll do. Just cant be bothered installing a floppy just to format an old 80gb disk to sell on
