Trying to find work for my dad

Around 50, managed and ran several restaurants (simultaneously) for 20+ years, served as interpreter and has worked in local politics (served over 3 terms)

Doesn’t have any qualifications. Any idea what’s good?

Was thinking of something like Delivery driver for Amazon. I work in Tech as a dev so there’s not really much he can do there. I hear amazon drivers make around £15 per hour, self employed?

Only requirement is that it has to pay more than 1500/mo

Why not restaurant manager or interpreter? Since he's actually got experience in both of those jobs.

I mean surely managing a restaurant would be a bit more satisfying that driving a delivery van?

If he's going down the route of very basic jobs requiring no qualifications then I'd have thought working in B&Q would be much nicer for someone getting on a bit age wise than trying to deliver packages within a tight deadline - that seems more like a young person's game.
